KinVatika is a family-run boutique homestay in Village Shudharang, just above Reckong Peo. Mornings begin with the first light striking Kinnaur Kailash, afternoons drift through the apple orchard, and evenings settle around hot food and a bonfire under an impossibly clear sky.
Every room is hand-finished in Himachali deodar wood, every meal is cooked in our own kitchen, and every guest leaves as family.

KinVatika Homestay is a warm, family-run place to stay in the heart of Kinnaur, where mountain light, orchard air and a slower village rhythm make every day feel memorable. We are based in Village Shudharang, in the Kalpa region, close to Kalpa, the wider Kinnaur valley and famous Kinnaur Kailash views.
Guests come for comfortable rooms, all-day mountain scenery and genuine hospitality. The terrace, balconies and windows open towards the snow line, while apple orchards and village lanes bring a calm, authentic feel to the stay.
Our warm rooms and homemade Himachali and Kinnauri food make a practical base for families, couples and road-trippers. Vegetarian meals, breakfast and simple local dishes are prepared in our own kitchen for travellers returning from valley walks and nearby attractions.
Staying in Kalpa lets you enjoy dramatic Himalayan views at a slower pace. KinVatika is also a useful base near Reckong Peo, Kalpa village and the scenic roads of Kinnaur.
