“We had a wonderful stay at KinVatika homestay a couple of days, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The hosts welcomed and hosted us with so much warmth, kindness, and love. The rooms were tidy, cozy, and comfortable. But the highlight of our stay was definitely the terrace, offering a breathtaking 270-degree view of Kinner Kailash mountain range. Waking up to such a magnificent view was an experience we’ll always cherish. A special thanks to the hosts for the delicious home-cooked meals, prepared with so much warmth and love. “I went last week, after travelling so much I was in hope of a very comfortable stay, and THIS WAS IT. Had the best experience with all the members of the family, homemade food by aunty, the best of all. We had spent 4 days, the life was goood, the view, the food, the talks we shared with the kids. We watched IPL, while having ghar ka khana wo bhi desi ghee ke sath. And the hygiene of the rooms were top notch. Kudos! I believe this is the best stay in Reckong Peo in terms of VIEW, hospitality and hygiene.”

The breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious, freshly prepared by the owner's wife herself. “We wish we could stay more! You can see Kinnaur Kailash and Shivlingam right from the property. Hosts speak English well and are very much fond of people visiting the area. We were greeted with chai (best chai we had in whole India btw) and we got to experience local life. They have cows, sheep, and a dog. They shared home made food with us - and it was made mostly of what they grow in the garden. Ghee was home made as well - with the milk from their cow. Did I mention high speed WiFi internet? The fastest we encountered on our whole trip!”

The property is situated at such a stunning location that you get a 360° panoramic view of Kinnaur Kailash. As the name suggests, it’s a true ‘Vatika’—with cows, lambs, hens, and lush apple orchards. From the amazing tea to the special Kinnauri Rajma they prepared just for me, everything was made with so much warmth. I even had the privilege of dining with their family, sitting next to the Angithi, sharing stories and experiencing the true essence of Himachali culture.”

“Highly recommended! We arrived late at 20:00, completely exhausted, but the family was waiting for us with wide open arms. They prepared a delicious, warm home-cooked dinner and made sure we had absolutely everything we needed to recover. Despite the early hour, they remembered we had to leave early and had fresh, hot chai ready for us at 07:00. Amazing hospitality, super caring people, and a truly warm place to stay. “Peo wasn't meant to be a stop in the journey but a leg cramp later, we found ourselves at their beautiful abode. Let me start by the gracious host Mr Kulwant Negi who runs the place with his wife Mrs Shiwali. Not only was he sweet enough to accommodate us last minute as we didn't have any bookings prior but he was kind enough to get medicines after seeing me in pain. Sir, I will never forget the kindness you showed. Perfect is the word! Clean rooms, wood work on ceilings, and freshly cooked food is just icing on the cake.”

They took care of us like family members, providing us with delicious home cooked food every time. We loved it so much that post leaving the place after a 3 day stay, we came back again for a day more, before we headed back to Delhi. The views are fantastic and exactly as shown in pics.”

“If you dream to live in a farm house, it's the right place for you. You have agriculture, cow, sheep, hen everything at one place. We loved their culture and hospitality. Thank you Kulwant bhai, bhabhi ji, uncle ji and aunty ji for showing us your culture and treating us like your own family. I went there to stay overnight but I ended up staying 3 nights there! It is not a homestay, it's your own home.”
